   aka Lafrensen, Nils [The Younger] / Lawer-entz, Niclas [der Jungere] / Lavreince, Niclas / Lavrince, Niclas / Lawreince, Niclas)
   Miniaturist, portraitist, and genre painter trained by his father. Moved to Paris where he achieved renown for images of Rococo society in a style reminiscent of Boucher.
